I always enjoy Tyler Perry films, plays, all of it. Tyler and I both come from the same part of the world, where people are expected to be strong, courageous, generous, loving, and care about other people. His movies remind us of what is really important in life, our relationships with others, not how much we acquire, or have in the bank. it was also great to see Margaret Avery (who played \"Shug Avery\" in \"The Color Purple\" back in movies. She is very talented, and I hope we will see more of her in film. Enjoy \"Meet the Browns\", but expect to laugh, to cry, to be touched in your heart. If you can\'t handle that, then this is not a movie for you to see.
I took my daughters to see this movie and we all loved it! It made us laugh and cry too!! Tyler Perry is awesome. I would recommend this movie to anyone!
I applaud Tyler Perry for his work and I thank him for making a product that my entire family can enjoy together, which is something rare in this day and age. I can\'t tell you how frustrating it is to have to view only kiddy movies when we want to go as a family because family movies are few and far between unless you want to watch a cartoon or some type of animation which is fine, but this is definitely a breath of fresh air. As far as the character being far fetched, we all need to keep in mind that this is for entertainment purpose only. No one said Jim Carey made white people look bad when he played Ace Ventura the pet detective or his character in Dumb and Dumber so why should the roles created by Tyler Perry be any different. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and mine that he\'s doing great things and I wish him all the best.
The reason Tyler Perry movies sell so many tickets is because you leave feeling good. In his movies the underdog wins, brokenhear ted people are healed, you will laugh out loud and it makes you believe in the power of love. Also, you will see at least one family member, friend or co-worker to relate to in this movie. If you want a break from the normal s**,violence,ho rror and profanity in movies watch Meet the Browns and go home feeling good.
